Gozova is your modern solution to moving. Our mission is to bring to life the easiest, most stress-free moving experience for our customers. Unlike traditional moving companies, you can get an instant quote, book an order, track your crew, pay, and tip from our website or mobile app!

We connect you to the best fit from our network of top-rated moving and delivery professionals in your area, ensuring they get the job done correctly and that your experience is great from start to finish.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the details of your move or delivery. Get a quote on our website in under 5 minutes and receive a guaranteed price after entering your order details.

How far can you move my stuff?

We’re able to complete moves within and between the cities we currently serve and can make special arrangements for longer moves with enough notice. Visit our locations page to see the markets we are available in.

What are you able to move?

We can move almost anything for you as long as it is legal! Whether you need to move a few items or your entire house, deliver a new couch, drop-off donation items, or remove junk, you name it, we can probably move it.

What if I rent or own my own truck?

Our moving services that include a truck tend to be more economical and efficient than renting your own truck. However, if you prefer, we can also help you load and unload your own truck with our labor only services.

What services do you offer?

Gozova offers moves of any size ranging from single-item deliveries to moving an entire home. If you want to transport your own items, but need help loading and unloading, we also offer labor only services. Packing and unpacking services are available in certain markets as an add-on to your move.

All of the services mentioned above are available for local and long distance moves.

What types of moves do you offer?
  • Move Your Entire Place: Looking to move your entire place? This is the most convenient option if you don’t want to lift a finger. We’ll move all of your items, and can even help you pack and unpack.
  • Move Only Specific Items: Save money by having us move your heavier items, while you take care of the smaller ones. This budget-friendly option lets you select the specific items you want us to move, and only pay for those.
  • Labor Only: If you have your own truck or rented a U-Haul to transport your items, we can still help. Our crew will make sure you have the extra muscle needed to load or unload your truck.

All of the types of moves mentioned above are available for local and long distance moves.

What is included with moving – “specific items”?

“Only specific items” includes a flat rate based on the items you selected (no hidden fees or time limit), flexibility to control cost based on items, professional crew with a vehicle, light disassembly and reassembly of certain items, blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, and complementary base coverage.

What is included with moving – “entire place”?

Everything within your household will be moved, a flat rate based on the square footage (no hidden fees or time limit), a professional crew with an appropriate vehicle, light disassembly and reassembly of certain items, blankets, shrink wrap and dollies, and complementary base coverage. Packing and unpacking are available as an add-on.

What is included with delivery?

Delivery of your items with a flat rate based on the items you selected, professional crew with a vehicle, light disassembly and reassembly of certain items, blankets, shrink wrap and dollies, and complementary base coverage.

If you’re getting items delivered from a store, just send us a picture of the receipt and wait for it from the comfort of your home.

What is included with labor only?

Labor Only is a great option if you need help loading or unloading your truck, moving furniture around the house, or setting up for an event. It includes two professional crew members, blankets, and dollies. If you need additional crew members, please contact our customer support team.

No vehicle or coverage is included with this service. If the crew is loading a vehicle for you and leaves blankets with the belongings that they are not going to retrieve the same day, there will be a charge per blanket that is used so the crew can purchase replacements.

Is labor only charged hourly?

Labor Only starts at $150 per hour (price varies by city). After the one-hour minimum, we will charge you in 15-min intervals. You won’t have to worry about needing our help for an extra couple minutes and getting charged a full hour!

How far in advance do I have to place an order?

Smaller moves and deliveries can be scheduled the same day, within two hours. Bigger moves must be booked at least 3 days prior.

How do I book an order or get a quote?

Click “get started,” let us know a few details about your move and click submit. Yes – it’s that easy!

How do I pay?

No upfront payment is required. We ask that you put a credit card on file in your account either through the website or in the wallet section on the bottom left of the screen on the Gozova app. 

Then once your move is completed, you can easily pay and tip through our app or on our website. We highly suggest making all transactions, including tip, through our app to ensure the most secure form of payment.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Cancel or reschedule your order at any time 24 hours before your scheduled move time! If you cancel after that, a cancellation fee will apply and be charged to the credit card on file. 

Cancellation fees are charged starting at the equivalent of one hour of labor based on your market. For orders valued at $1000 or higher, the cancellation fee will be charged at 20 percent.

Do you offer packing and unpacking services?

Professional packing and unpacking services are available as an add-on to your move in every market except Nashville, Tampa, and Orlando.

Packing price is contingent upon a walk-through or video conference that our team will schedule with you after booking. Your items will be packed the day before your move. If selected, unpacking will happen the day after your move. The provider fulfilling your packing services is not guaranteed to be the same provider fulfilling your move.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged until after your move or delivery is complete. At that time, you’ll be able to complete payment within the app and add an optional tip.

What is the cancellation policy?

Order reschedules and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the service window or you will be charged a cancellation fee, starting at the equivalent of one hour of labor based on your market. For orders valued at $1000 or higher, the cancellation fee will be charged at 20 percent. You will not be charged for any reschedules or cancellations before that time period.

If you book within 24 hours of your service window and decide to cancel or reschedule, you will be charged the cancellation fee to the card on file.

What happens after I’ve scheduled an order?

You will receive a text message and confirmation email with additional information on how to prepare for your big day! The day before your order, we’ll send you an SMS reminder with your arrival window. On the day of the order, you will receive a notification and SMS when the crew is on their way. After your move, you’ll be able to pay and tip directly from the app.

What if I have more items to add?

If you booked an “only specific items” move and you have more items to add, please reach out to our Gozova support and we will gladly add those to your order. We can also take items off that are no longer needed. 

Please remember that we select the vehicle we send for your order based on the items listed (itemized orders only) and need time to schedule the correct crew. We ask that you please submit all final changes within 24 hours of your move.

How do I know my items are safe?

We work with a network of top rated providers to ensure that you receive the highest quality crew for your job. Crew members are background-checked, we provide blankets, straps, and plastic wrap for transportation, and all items include coverage for both small deliveries and household moves. Please keep in mind that Labor Only orders do not include insurance for the items.

How do I prepare for my move?

Please make sure your large items are disassembled and boxed prior to the crew’s arrival. We will provide moving blankets, straps and plastic wrap. Our flat rate moving services only include light disassembly and reassembly such as headboards, footboards, and table legs.

What to expect on the day of the move?

On the day of your order, you will get an in-app notification when the crew is on their way to the pickup location. You will then be able to track them in the app as they transport your items to the destination.

When the order is completed, you’ll be able to pay and tip in the app with no cash needed. Please remember to let us know how we did by rating us in the app and leaving a review on any of our social media accounts!

Do I need to wait at the pickup location?

We will send you an in-app notification and text message when your crew is on their way keeping you informed every step of the way so you don’t have to wonder when your crew will arrive. We do ask that you are at the location for moves. If it’s a store pickup, simply send us a picture of the receipt and we’ll take care of the rest, delivering it straight to you!

How will I know when my moving crew is coming?

When booking your order you chose a one hour window. Your moving crew will arrive within that one-hour window, but you will receive an in-app notification and text message when they are on the way and when they have arrived. You can track your crew and items along the way in the app.

Will I need to be there for the move?

Yes, you, or a designated individual, will need to be present for your move to let the moving crew into your residence and to answer any questions about moving your items.

Will they bring my items being delivered inside?

Yes, the crew will make sure your items are placed exactly where you want them. Contact-less delivery is also available upon request, in which case your items would be left at your doorstep to adhere to social distancing practices.

Will I need to disassemble/reassemble my items?

Light disassembly and reassembly such as headboards, footboards, and table legs is included. If other larger items need to be taken apart, we ask that you disassemble them ahead of time.

What happens if inclement weather arises on my move day? 

Our team is monitoring weather conditions daily. Safety of our movers and customers is our most important duty. If inclement weather conditions are severe or make us unable to fulfill your move at the scheduled day and time, we will notify you and coordinate a day or time when conditions are safe to proceed with the move. How do I tip/how much do I tip?

You can easily tip your crew members from our app or with cash. Tip amount is up to your discretion. If you are unsure, the service industry standard is always appropriate.

What if one of my items is damaged during the move?

If one of your items is damaged during your move, please reach out to the Gozova support team and we will make sure it is taken care of according to our terms of service.
